Welcome to OSSChain Forum! - OSSChain Core - 06-03-2024

General Guidelines
  • This forum is dedicated to constructive, civil, and long-term discussions.
  • Low-quality posts and comments will be strictly moderated.
  • Only comment if you have a thoughtful, new idea to add.
  • Use emojis to indicate agreement with posts.

Irrelevant Topics
  • Discussions about OSS token price.
  • Non-OSSChain related discussions.
  • For general discussions about OSSChain, please refer to our official Discord and Telegram groups.

Soft Proposals
  • The purpose of soft proposals is to receive feedback and provide opportunities for modification.
  • This forum is open to all to enable broader discussion and feedback on proposals.
  • Proposals will have supporters and critics, but the governance vote (Snapshot) will be the final decision-maker.
  • Proposals with sufficient token holder interest will be pushed to a vote, regardless of the tone of the comments on the soft proposal.

Pinning and Social Media Policy
  • The main criteria for pinning and pushing posts to social media is whether the proposal is likely to achieve the Vote Threshold (quorum) if pushed to a Snapshot vote.
  • Posts by or supported by core development teams, existing ecosystem partners, and large token holders will be prioritized for pinning and sharing on official OSSChain social media, as they are most likely to achieve quorum.

Archiving Policy
  • When a post is archived, a moderator will leave a comment in the thread and tag the original poster with the reason for archiving.
  • A post will be archived if it is more than 2 weeks old and:
    • Has fewer than 5 responses from community members.
    • Has not received support from delegates, large token holders, or core development teams.

Additional Notes
  • This policy will evolve over time.
  • We aim to encourage open, civil, and on-topic discussions.
  • Moderators will remove or archive posts that are irrelevant or low effort.
  • Moderators will move posts to the correct category.
  • Moderators will combine duplicate topics.
